Youth Sport Sponsorship in Redding, CA

Chevrolet of Lithia is excited to announce our partnership with NorCal Nationals! Lithia Chevrolet and Chevy Youth Sports program is about - Empowering kids through the power of play. As a result of receiving this sponsorship, the official name of the NorCal Nationals team will be changed to Lithia Chevrolet – NorCal Nationals. Baseball clinics will be held here at our facility, in conjunction with Chevrolet and Simpson College.

The Chevy Youth Baseball and Softball program is devoted to helping a whole new generation learn to appreciate the sport that is considered to be America's national pastime. Chevrolet helps with these clinics by funding clinics with players from both the Major League and the Minor League. Co-hosting duties will be handled by the organization known as the Lithia Chevrolet - NorCal Nationals. The clinic gives at least 150 players from the Northern California region the opportunity to participate in the sport they love. We are looking forward to interacting with the young people living in the areas of Shasta, Tehama, Trinity, Siskiyou, Lassen, and Butte County!

Empowering Kids Through the Power of Play

Chevrolet wants to make sure that every kid grows up with the same opportunities. We are committed to supporting various youth sports organizations. Since 2006, Chevrolet has been able to improve the lives of 6.7 million kids by donating 136,000 kits, 9,400 leagues enhancements, and giving 1,636 free youth clinics. The kits consist of a variety of essential goods, including batting tees, equipment bags, and first aid kits, as well as T-shirts. 

But Chevy isn't the only one going up to the bat to provide a hand in the development of Chevy Youth Baseball. Outfielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Major League Baseball All-Star Andrew McCutchen said, "I am thankful that I was able to achieve my dream, and I am excited to support Chevy Youth Baseball so that more of the dedicated and talented youth all around the country have the same support and opportunity to make it to the big leagues."

Developing Character and Life Lessons

Chevrolet understands that participating in youth sports is about more than simply having fun and remaining physically active; they also boost a young person's sense of self-worth, enhance academic achievement, and teach valuable life lessons. Children that take part in young sports are able to develop qualities such as persistence and collaboration, as well as the ability to win and lose with grace and dignity regardless of the outcome.

Chevy is contributing to the development of the next generation of big-league players in a variety of ways, including the sponsorship of instructional clinics and the donation of equipment, as well as the provision of uniforms and the refurbishment of playing fields
