At a Glance: The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Three Trim Options

The 2021 Corvette Stingray is available in three trims. The L1 is the base model, and the L2 and the L3 make up the other two trims. Each trim level can be considered a package, with the L2 and the L3 offering more luxury and features.

Convertible or Coupe

Buyers have the choice of a coupe or convertible with a folding hardtop roof with each of the 2021 Corvette trims. The coupe has a removable top that manually lifts off for open-roof driving. The removable roof is easily stored in the trunk just behind the engine compartment.

Seating and Cabin

All 2021 Corvette Stingray trims provide comfortable and spacious seating for two adults. The cabin has been moved forward to accommodate the mid-mounted engine. The interior is full of high-end materials, including leather, metal, imitation suede, and a stitched headliner. This is a cabin that feels more like a cockpit than the cabin of a car.

Extra Cargo Space

The trunk is large enough to carry four standard-size domestic carry-on suitcases. If you have stored the removable roof in the rear, you still have luggage space in the front cargo area. The front storage area gives extra luggage space to all models of the 2021 Corvette Stingray.

Powerful Standard Drivetrain

Each model of the two-door 2021 Corvette Stingray comes with a monstrous 6.2-liter V8 that produces 490 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque as standard. For a performance vehicle that weighs merely 3,300 pounds, that is an extreme amount of power. The transmission is a first for a Corvette. The unbelievably fast-shifting, dual-clutch, eight-speed automatic transmission with manual gear-shifting capabilities is available on all models.

Fuel Economy

The standard engine of all three models provides a driving range of 300 miles around the city and over 440 miles on the open road. Drive the V8 with a soft touch on the accelerator pedal to get more mileage and range. The 2021 Corvette Stingray is EPA rated to deliver 19 mpg around town and 24 mpg on the highway. For an engine of such performance, those are excellent numbers.

Z51 Package

Beyond the spectacular handling and performance of the three trims, anyone who is looking for insane power and drivability has the option to upgrade with the Z51 performance package. The engine is tuned to turn out a very quick 495 horsepower and turns the car into a supercar. Other extra performance enhancements include stronger brakes, shift paddles or buttons to change gears, and enhanced suspension. A Z51 stacked 2021 Corvette Stingray will get you from zero to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds.

There are many ways to customize and configure your choice of the 2021 Corvette Stingray premium performance car. You can certainly expect to have a great time buying one.
