3. Turtle Bay Exploration Park

This amazing outdoor space includes a forest camp, botanical gardens, and a museum. Turtle Bay Exploration Park is a large natural history park that offers spectacular scenery, including the Sundial Bridge, the forestry and wildlife center, an arboretum, and hiking trails. You’ll discover lots of local birds and wildlife when you explore the areas around this outdoor space, including the gateway to Sacramento River Trails.

4. Palo Cedro Park

Palo Cedro Community Park is a wonderful recreational space with preserved natural areas, including plants, wetlands, trees, and wildlife. You’ll find great opportunities to spot a variety of birds and fantastic scenery for photographs. This park offers many other amenities to enjoy during your visit, including a picnic pavilion, barbecue areas, a playground, sports fields, a walking trail, and horseshoe pits.
